Fished in Crawford Bay for 5 days on a vacation and the Dollies were biting consistently, nothing too huge but the ones we kept were 20-28". Trout Apex and black and gold buck tails worked the best.

Really slow lake right now hopefully they get the lakes ecosystem under control, I heard a couple different stories but the general consensus is the fish are not there anymore, but I will keep fishing it, because a bad day of fishing is better then..... Just about anything

Fishing has been really slow this year with the decline of the Kokanee stocks. Still managing to get at least one or two good ones to the boat every time we go out but it's going to be a while before we see the kind of numbers that we were over the last few years.

Hello Gerard Anglers... I fish Kootenay lake a couple times a year with my Dad. We launch out of Kuskanook harbor, just wondering where Dolley Varten Alley is, and and near by spots. We troll lots of spoons, had our best luck on mepps. Is the bite generally this slow in hot, summer months?
