Had a great two days on this lake. Caught a few rainbow trout and a ton (I mean ton!) of sucker fish... I don't know what you call them out here but they look a little like walleye. As soon as our rod got in the water, bam! Fish galore.

Was there in the summer and wanted to fish from shore, but couldn't find a public spot along the shore. It seemed everywhere was privately owned. Anyone know where there 's a good shoreline fishing spot with public access??

I fish bass. If you want them.... Go directly across from the shady brook marina and move south (Left) along the weeds, reeds and lily pads and cast. (note that bass enjoy deeper water and finding a spot without high weeds is a good strategy. Use jigs of any kind or small Len Thompson spoons. If you have no luck go to the far north side of the lake in the small channel near the pillars. I've caught two to four pounders in these locations.

The fishing was difficult there because of the weather in the Fraser valley.shore acsses is bad too.if you want to catch fish here you are going to need a boat.but at the same time we saw some fish jumping.for some bait try a spoon that has green combinations.Try an Adams fly or elk hair caddis.

Has anyone taken bass from the large lilly pad patch off the south west shore of the lake? Guessing it's about 2 km in from where the river enters the lake.

Was out for most of the day. Searching for bass around typical bassy structure. Found some under docks trees and reeds. Only managed 5 between two guys. And a squa fish on the fly rod. Nothing on plugs. Just 7" worms.

Caught an unbelievable Rainbow today. About 200 yds off the shore in front of the geodesic house across the railroad tracks. South of Kinsmen Bay. Must have been close to 10 lbs. Real beauty. Just casting with a 00' 5 of diamonds Len Thompson spoon.

Hard to find the bass or figure out what they'll bite on. Put in a good shift and tried everything but to no avail.

Rainbow trout are plentiful. Hard to find right now because the water is so high. Try trolling with a 00 Len Thompson spoon. They seem to like the red and whites.
